Swim with FAST at the Michigan State Meet - April 16th-18th, 2010, Haslett HS (near East Lansing)
DO YOU OWN A SWIMSUIT? YOU'RE ON THE TEAM.
WE NEED EVERYONE'S PARTICIPATION TO 3-PEAT AS STATE MEET CHAMPS.
IF YOU ARE A REGISTERED FAST MEMBER AND SWIM STATE MEET, YOU GET A FAST STATE MEET T-SHIRT & CAP. IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST STATE MEET AS A FAST MEMBER, YOU ALSO GET A TOWEL.

1. You must be a 2010 member of United States Masters Swimming (USMS). You can join online at http://www.usms.org/reg/. Select Michigan Masters as your LMSC and "FAST" as your workout group.
2. Join FAST for 2010
3. You can print a State Meet Entry Form (PDF) or you can enter online right now. Enter "FAST" as Club Affiliation.
4. If you enter 4 or more individual events, the meet t-shirt is free.
5. Please try to enter 7 events. There is one relay at the end of each session Saturday and Sunday (4 relays total). We scored a ton of points from our relays last year and had a blast. Please do your best to stay for relays each session and help FAST make a run for the '10 Championship.

7. Haslett HS is a 25-yard, 12-lane pool (8 lanes for competition). There is plenty of seating for family members to cheer.
8. You and your family are invited to join us after Saturday afternoon's session (typically ~5:30pm) on Saturday, April 17 for a FAST team dinner. Details to come via e-mail.
9. This is undoubtedly the most exciting meet of the year. We are known for supporting our teammates and cheering loudly at meets. Athletes work hard all year and taper for this meet in order to drop a few seconds, or even tenths. If an injury prohibits your competing, please consider attending a session as a cheerleader.
10. We will be working on starts, turns, and talk about competition rules on Saturday swims in March. Our veteran swimmers will walk you through what to expect and what to bring. (Relay Start Clinic, 4pm, Farmington Y, March 28)
11. If you know of anyone who wants to swim, please pass this along.
